WeDigTV - Terms and Conditions of Use

By playing on WeDigTV you have accepted the following terms and conditions. Please close the site down if you do not accept them.

WeDigTV is a multiple-choice quiz prize portal bringing the excitement of cult TV2 show show formulas to broadband users. The rules set out below govern the provision of these "TV2 shows" to you.

The JD Project Ltd are the Promoters of the Competition. All queries in respect of payment and for purchase of Credits should be directed via email to payments@jdproject.com.

Contestants should regularly check the Terms and Conditions to review updates as issued by the Promoters.

Exclusions to Prizes

Any person who is or has been employed by The JD Project Ltd or any of its member or affiliated companies or is employed by the Promoters or any of their associated companies or is contracted for work by any person or entity rendering services or has rendered services the product of which is currently in use in respect of the Competition. Plus any member of immediate family including any live-in partner of any of the aforesaid persons are ineligible to enter the Competition.

Procedures and Purchase of Credits

Contestants can choose to play on the free to play mode or the pay to play mode. Free to play mode requires no data entry or payment but does not qualify the contestant to enter any competition associated with WeDigTV.

Entry and participation in the Competition by a Contestant is dependent on the purchase of TV2 show credits. Each Credit purchased will entitle the Contestant to one TV2 show play which permits the Contestant to access the TV2 show and answer randomly generated questions in the Competition until either the contestant closes the TV2 show down or fails to qualify for any subsequent rounds of the TV2 show.

Please note that if you close the TV2 show down during the middle of the TV2 show, you will forfeit your TV2 show in progress and lose your credit. Safeguards are in place to stop users from closing the window but due to browser compatibility issues we do not guarantee that these will be 100% effective. Please take care as it is ultimately the user's responsibility.

Upon purchase of Credits using one of the methods set out in the in TV2 show menu the Contestant will be allocated a code unless Credits are purchased by credit/debit card, BT Click & Buy or Paypal. Credits are available to purchase in the following manner : Paypal. In order to commence an TV2 show a Contestant is required to enter and submit his or her Pass Code, if applicable, or otherwise in accordance with the instructions provided on the Buy Credits section of the WeDigTV Buy Credits section. The number of Credits remaining to a Contestant is shown on the bottom left of the TV2 show screen. A Credit will be deducted from the Account Balance of a Contestant upon the commencement of the TV2 show. All Credits and Pass Codes must be used within 28 days from the date of purchase. All Credits and Pass Codes are non-refundable. If Contestants are unclear or experience difficulties at any time with respect to Payment Procedures Contestants should email payments@jdproject.com.

A Contestant can compare his or her current and past performances in the Competition against other Contestants in the leader board section.

Prizes and Winners

Please note that in Family Fortunes not all possible answers provided within the mechanic are the result of a survey.

In each calendar month a cash prize is made available to the eligible Contestants who have been notified by the Promoters as having obtained top 20 leader board positions in respect of participation in the Competition within such lapsed calendar month. Only correct knowledge based answers to the TV2 show questions, and no other process, will earn the Contestant points for inclusion in the leader board. One winner will be drawn from the top 20 leader board positions on each game. Those 4 winners will be notified according to the terms and conditions set out below.

The Prize TV2 show month shall run from 00.00 on 1st of the start month and finish at 23.59 on the 1st of the following month.

The Prizes are based on the development of the Prize Fund and are directly related to the volume of eligible contestants within the leader board. The prize fund will have a minimum value of £ 300 per calendar month and a maximum value of £ 3,000 per calendar month. Each Calendar month the prize fund will be distributed equally to Winning Contestants. If a Contestant wins a prize during a calendar month he or she will not be eligible to win the monthly jackpot in the following three consecutive Prize Months.

Contestants who are entitled to prizes will be notified by e-mail by the Promoters within 7 days of the end of a Prize TV2 show Month. It is the responsibility of Contestants to ensure that the contact details they have supplied to the promoters are up to date and accurate. Payments to winning Contestants will be paid by cheque made payable to the confirmed Contestant and sent by first class post to the address provided by the confirmed Contestant within 60 days of notification by the promoters to the winning Contestants. In order to be eligible for receipt of winnings, winning Contestants must respond to a win notification within 48 hours.

Furthermore winning Contestants agree to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoters may reasonably require in connection with WeDigTV and the Promoters shall have the right to use each winning Contestant's name, likeness, image, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with WeDigTV in all media without further notice and without the need to make any payment to any winner for such use.

Please note that all prizes in our TV2 shows are purely for fun, and are not representative of actual winnings.

Permitted use of the TV2 shows

You must not abuse the TV2 show or attempt to participate in the Competition in a manner that is in breach of the Rules and in any other manner that may deemed unlawful or which is likely to cause offense. Any such actions committed by a Contestant will invalidate the Contestant's entry in the contest and may result in further actions being taken.

The Promoters may refuse to pay any winnings and further reserves the right to reclaim all sums that may have been paid to a Contestant in the event of a reasonable suspicion of a breach of these Rules and for non-entitlement to participate in the Competition under the Rules.

You agree to indemnify and hold the Promoters and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, or other partners and employees harmless from and against any claim or demand, losses, costs, expenses or damages including without limitation, reasonable legal fees, made by any person, howsoever arising out of, or, made by any third party due to or otherwise arising out of your breach of these Rules.

Intellectual Property Rights

All systems associated with the TV2 show and the underlying software or services are proprietary to the Promoters and are used under license from The JD Project Ltd,. The marks, logos and branding features of Fremantle and Granada Ventures and its partners appearing on the WeDigTV TV2 shows are the trademarks of the above parties and remain for the use of its partners as appropriate. You may not display or use in any manner any of WeDigTV and its partners' marks, logos and branding features without the relevant party's prior written consent. By utilising the TV2 shows, you shall not obtain any rights in the infrastructure, content, third party intellectual property rights, or software associated with the TV2 show. All content contained in sponsor advertisements, or information presented to you through the TV2 show is protected by various intellectual property rights and laws. Except as expressly authorized by WeDigTV and its partners as applicable, you agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute, or create derivative works based on WeDigTV, or any software used in connection with the TV2 shows in whole or in part. You shall not to modify the underlying software relating to the TV2 shows in any manner or form, or to use modified versions of the software, including, without limitation for the purpose of obtaining unauthorised access to the TV2 shows.

Limitation of Liability

Due to the nature of the Internet and of interactive services, the Promoters depend upon third parties over which it may have little or no control for the provision of the WeDigTV website. Whilst the Promoters shall use reasonable endeavours to provide and maintain access to the site neither The JD Project or its partners shall be liable to Contestants for any interruptions or failures in access to the TV2 show. In addition, the Promoters depend upon third parties over which it may have little or no control for the provision of services in respect of payment and for the purchase of Credits. As such, the Promoters shall not be liable to Contestants for any interruptions or failures in access to any services provided by any Third Party Providers.
