Get ready to try and outwit your rival family, as you attempt to find the most popular answers in our famous surveys. Yes, you'll be trying to guess what one hundred different people thought were the best answers to hundreds of different quesions! Are you thinking along the same lines as the general public? Join Vernon Kay and find out!
We have the Single, Double and Big Money rounds for you to play, so click on Play and let's get started!
You may want to familiarise yourself with instructions on how to play, so use the link below to get started. Remember, instructions are only a click away wherever you are in the show.
Family Fortunes is all about our surveys, where we ask one hundred people a variety of questions. You're trying to guess the most popular answers, and our results will include every answer that came up at least twice.
There'll be between four and eight answers to each question, and somewhere within the answers to that question, there might be a bonus prize!
We start with your family member at the podium, where the question is first revealed. You need to 'buzz in' before the rival family member and guess the most popular answer to the question. You can 'buzz in' as soon as you think of a good answer, but be careful, as if it's not there or not popular enough, you may end up handing control to your rivals!
Remember, the choices for the answer are the ones your Family Member thought of, which may not necessarily include what YOU thought of.
The longer you wait before buzzing in, (Keep an eye on the timer) the more thinking time you will have given your family member. Increasing the chance that there will be some great answers in the list.
Watch the timer, and press the button when you think your family member has some good answers.
Move the mouse up and down the list, and click one to select it.
Vernon will "...see if it's there..." and you'll either see the answer and some points, or hear the famous Family Fortunes "Uh-uhhh!"
If your answer is top, then you'll get to choose whether to PLAY or PASS.
If not, then your opponent will get to have a guess. If their guess is better, then they get to choose whether to PLAY or PASS. But if your answer is higher than theirs, YOU'LL get control!
Choosing to PLAY will mean that your family have to find all the remaining answers to win the points. If you don't, the other family will have a chance to find just one remaining answer, and steal your points! If you choose to PASS the roles are reversed.
Once the decision to PLAY or PASS has been made, one family is in control. Vernon will then move through each family member, and they will have to choose an answer that appears on the board.
Move the mouse up and down the list, and click one answer to select it. Remember, you only have a limited time!
There'll always be at least one correct answer in every family member's list.
Keep an eye on how your family members do, how often they offer good answers, as this will be important later. ;-)
If a family member chooses incorrectly, then that family gets an 'X'. It's Three Strikes and the family is potentially out, with the other family having a chance to steal control!
To steal, the family not currently controling the board simply has to guess an answer that appears anywhere on the board.
If a board is stolen, all the points will be given to the stealing family. Watch out!
First, each family member will suggest a possible answer. These are suggestions and you may get some good or bad ideas.
It is up to the head of the family to choose the stealing answer. The head can take a suggestion or use their own.
If you're stealing, you'll see the familiar answer picker with your family's suggestions highlighted. Good luck!
Double Money works in the same way as Single Money, but the points per answer are doubled, so it's a great chance to stretch a lead, or claw back from a losing position.
Remember, your score needs to be higher than your opponents to get you through to the Big Money finale. If not, the Show's Over! Of course, you can always play again!
The instructions for playing this round are the same as Single Money:

Great, you're through to Big Money!
Now as the head of the family, you have to choose ONE other family member to join you. Try and pick the family member who did the best job during the game. We hope you were paying attention! Once you've picked, Vernon will call you both down to play Big Money.
As you're the head of the family, you will be asked to leave the stage. Your chosen family member gets to play first, and you're in a soundproof booth so you have no idea how they answered! Lisa, Our announcer, will let you know whether you made the best choice when you picked a family member to join you.
After a short break, you'll be invited back on stage to play Big Money. Here, you'll have five survey questions to answer within a tight time limit. Your chosen family member will have given their answers first, but you don't get to see how they answered just yet.
The questions are now shown in rapid succession. You're against the clock!
You choose your answers just like you did in the show.
As your chosen family member went first, you may find that when you try and pick an answer, you hear a sound, and Vernon will ask for another choice. This means you picked an answer that your family member already picked, so you need to choose again.
You're aiming to reach over two hundred points, when your scores, and those of your family member are added together.
See if you can find the top answer to each question to REALLY boost your score!
Once the panic's over, we'll let you know how both you and your family member answered. If you make it over 200 points then YOU'VE WON!
Win or lose, at the end of the show, we'll show you your score for each round, and reveal your final total. When you've finished checking your scores, click OK to return to the Main Screen to start the fun again!
